| HID Conversion Kit Installation Tutorial |
*The HID kit featured in this tutorial is a 9006 Bulb-Type, 6000K (Purplish-White) kit.
*The installation vehicle is a 2003 - 2007 Honda Accord EX V6

different bulbs, installation will be very similar.

STEP 1: Replace the stock halogen bulb on one side
We disconnected and removed the
battery for safety and to clear room for
easy access to the rear of the
driver-side headlamp.

We were especially sure NOT to touch
the Bulbs. Natural oils from a human
hand will do great harm to the life of
headlight bulbs. We wore Latex gloves
to avoid any possible contact.
On this 2003 V6 Accord, taking out the
old bulbs required a 1/4-turn counter
clockwise.

The Honda owner's Manual
recommended that headlight bulbs be
changed by removing the plastic
under-body of the fender that sits over
the tire to access light bulbs for
changing. While space was tight,
installing from the engine compartment
worked great and probably took less
time than Honda's approach.

Next, we carefully removed the clear
bulb protector without touching the
HID bulb.

Carefully insert the HID bulb into the
Headlamp assembly.

We inserted the HID bulb with the wires
pointing at 5 o'clock, then locked it in to
place by turning the bulb base clockwise
until the wires pointed to 6 o'clock.

Step 2: PLUG-IN the HID wiring
We located the metal-tabs that appear behind
the HID Bulbs.

NOTE: It is CRITICAL to connect (+) to (+) and
( - ) to ( - ). Positive (+) wires are identified by
RED wiring, Negative ( - ) wires are identified
by BLACK Wiring.
IF YOU ARE NOT ABLE TO SEE THE COLOR

you may have to peel back the black electrical
tape to be sure. DO NOT INSERT THE
METAL TABS UNTIL YOU DETERMINE
WHICH WIRE IS WHICH.

metal tabs in to the appropriate slits located
on the factory wire harness. The "factory
harness" is the white plug above that was
connected to the original light bulb. You will
feel each metal tab "click" into place when
fully inserted.

The custom plug-ends will only fit with the
appropriate corresponding wire.

plugging them into the corresponding
