Land Rover HID headlights
As far as we are concerned Land Rover is
"the" top dog when it comes to luxury SUV's.
That's why it was a big surprise that no Land
Rover vehicles where made with HID
headlights until 2002 when other luxury
brands like Mercedes, and BMW were
offering optional HID headlights on their
vehicles as far back as 1996!
The Range Rover headlight bulbs first used
plasma arc-lamp technology in 2002. While
other Land Rover vehicles were starting to
use projector headlamps, they were they
were still equipped with standard halogen
bulbs and only optional HID lamps.
Fast forward to 2012. Every Land Rover
vehicle is now offered with at least optional
HID headlamps. We recommend using our
5000K factory replacement bulbs, and if you
would like more of a pure white light instead
of day light colored lights,, we recommend
using our 6000K HID bulbs for the brightest
pure white and best looking lights possible.
