Buick HID Bulbs - Replacement Guide (For Audi vehicles with factory HID Headlights & Upgradeable headlamps)
Buick HID headlights In 2008 the Buick Enclave became the first Buick vehicle to come with HID headlights as standard equipment. In 2009, optional HID lights on the Lacrosse also became available. The Lucerne does not come with HID lighting (yet) but can be upgraded to HID lights with our 9006 conversion kit, and the 2011 Buick regal headlamp conversion is the H11 kit accessible from the far left column.
If you have a 2008 or newer Buick that came from the factory with HID lights, you will begin to need replacement bulbs 3 - 5 years from your original date of use, depending of course on how much night driving you do. If you do a lot of night driving or, if you are one of those show-offs who like to drive around with your HID lights on in the day time, it is not unusual for HID bulbs to expire in under 2 years. If you need replacements, see chart (at right) or click on Buick Factory Replacement HID bulbs.
Older Buick vehicles (1999 and older) that use replaceable halogen bulbs, can usually be upgraded with our complete line of 9006 conversion kits which as of January 2011 will come with Free Shipping and a 2 year Defect Exchange Warranty that will cover replacement HID kit bulbs, and replacement ballasts, for 2 years from date of purchase.
